Our Curriculum
Classroom Learning
Classroom learning introduces students to core academic subjects, giving them the essential knowledge and skills needed to understand the world around them. They learn how to read critically, express ideas clearly, solve problems, analyze information, and build logical reasoning. In addition to academics, classrooms also teach important social and emotional skills, such as cooperation, communication, empathy, and conflict resolution. Students practice listening to others, working in groups, following routines, and managing responsibilities. They also develop habits like organization, perseverance, and time management. Through discussions, projects, and guided instruction, classroom learning helps students grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally, preparing them to become confident, capable learners who can succeed in more advanced studies and contribute positively to their communities.
Outdoor Learning
Outdoor learning is an educational approach that moves instruction beyond the classroom and into natural or outdoor environments, where students benefit from hands‑on, real‑world experiences that strengthen engagement, wellbeing, and academic understanding. Research shows that outdoor learning improves children’s physical and mental health, increases focus, reduces stress, and boosts motivation and participation. It also enhances problem‑solving, communication, teamwork, and resilience by giving students opportunities to explore, take appropriate risks, and interact with nature in meaningful ways.
Religous Education
Religious education is essential because it forms the heart of spiritual, moral, and intellectual development, helping students understand their identity as children of God while learning how to live out their faith in daily life. Through Mass, sacraments, and theology classes students learn Catholic truths and experience God’s grace to them. Experiences like adoration and schoolwide prayer help students develop a personal relationship with Christ, offering quiet moments of reflection in a busy world. As they grow older, opportunities such as a junior high pilgrimage or mission trip allow them to put faith into action, encounter the universal Church, and serve others with compassion. Together, these experiences form students who are grounded in faith, committed to service, and prepared to lead with integrity and purpose.
