Activities
Student Produced Paper
Students from every grade help create the school newspaper by writing stories, drawing artwork, and taking photos that show what is happening around Saint Mary’s. This project teaches creativity, teamwork, and communication while giving students a chance to share their voices and celebrate the accomplishments of their classmates.
Sports League
Saint Mary’s offers sports leagues for every grade, helping students stay active, learn teamwork, and build confidence. Students enjoy fun and competitive games in an organized league. Coaches teach responsibility, good sportsmanship, and healthy habits that help students grow both on and off the field. Sports include football, cross country, volleyball, dance, swim, basketball, golf, tennis, and track and field.
Tech Classes
Students learn important technology skills through hands‑on computer classes that teach coding, typing, digital safety, and basic IT knowledge. These lessons help students understand how computers work, solve problems creatively, and prepare for future careers. Coding projects also encourage teamwork and help students think like real programmers.
Bible Study
Bible study helps students learn about God’s love, explore Scripture, and understand how faith guides their daily lives. Through stories, discussions, and prayer, students grow in kindness, respect, and responsibility. Bible study strengthens their relationship with Jesus and helps them live out the values of the Catholic faith.
Academic Teams
Academic teams give students the chance to challenge themselves through competitions in math, reading, science, and general knowledge. Students practice problem‑solving, teamwork, and quick thinking while representing their school. These teams help build confidence, encourage curiosity, and show students that learning can be exciting and rewarding.
Dance and Music Education
Dance and music classes allow students to learn rhythm, grace, and poise under pressure. Students explore different styles of music, sing, or play instruments, building confidence through performances. These classes help students develop coordination, focus, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Speech Classes
Speech classes teach students how to speak clearly, confidently, and respectfully in front of others. Through presentations, storytelling, and practice activities, students learn public‑speaking skills that will help them throughout life. Speech class builds confidence, improves communication, and helps students become strong leaders and thoughtful listeners.
4‑H Club: Cooking, Baking, and Agriculture
The 4‑H Club gives students hands‑on experiences in cooking, baking, gardening, and agriculture. Students learn practical life skills, explore healthy foods, and discover how plants and animals are cared for. The club encourages responsibility, creativity, and teamwork while helping students appreciate the importance of agriculture in their community.
