About St. Sebastian Catholic Elementary School
Our Story
St. Sebastian Catholic Elementary School has been a cornerstone of faith, learning, and community for families in our parish. Founded on the belief that every child is a gift from God, our school nurtures the whole child intellectually, spiritually, socially, and emotionally within a welcoming Catholic environment.
We are proud to be a place where academic excellence and Gospel values go hand in hand. From our youngest learners to our graduating eighth graders, students at St. Sebastian are challenged to grow in knowledge, virtue, and love for God and neighbor.
Our Mission
St. Sebastian Catholic Elementary School is dedicated to providing a rigorous, faith-centered education that prepares students to become lifelong learners, compassionate leaders, and faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church, we partner with families and parish community to form the hearts and minds of our children.
Our Vision
We envision a school community where every student is known, loved, and encouraged to reach their God-given potential where faith is lived, not just learned, and where excellence in all things gives glory to God.
Our Patron: St. Sebastian
St. Sebastian was a Roman soldier and Christian martyr who lived in the third century. Known for his courage, perseverance, and unwavering faith even in the face of great hardship, St. Sebastian is a powerful model for our students. We are inspired by his example to face life’s challenges with strength, integrity, and trust in God.
What Makes Us Different
At St. Sebastian, we believe that faith and learning are inseparable. Our school community is built on:
Faith Formation — Daily prayer, Mass attendance, sacramental preparation, and service learning are woven into every aspect of school life.
Academic Excellence — Our dedicated faculty challenges students with a rigorous curriculum grounded in Catholic intellectual tradition, preparing them for success in high school and beyond.
Community & Family — We believe education is a partnership. Families, teachers, and parish work together to support each child’s journey.
Service & Virtue — Inspired by the Gospel, we teach students to live with kindness, justice, and a heart for those in need.
Our Community
St. Sebastian Catholic Elementary School is part of the larger St. Sebastian Parish family. Together, we share a commitment to worship, learning, and service. Our school community celebrates Mass together, participates in parish events, and reaches out to those in need through service projects throughout the year.
We warmly welcome families who are seeking a faith-filled education for their children. Whether you are a longtime parishioner or new to our community, there is a place for your family at St. Sebastian.
