Catholic Schools Week at St. Micheal the Archangel was a joyful celebration of everything that makes our school a place where faith and learning flourish together. The week began with a beautiful all‑school Mass, where students processed in with class banners and offered prayers for their families, teachers, and parish community. Throughout the week, each day carried a special theme that highlighted a different part of our mission — celebrating our students, honoring our teachers, appreciating our families, and serving our community. Classrooms buzzed with excitement as students participated in buddy activities, created saint projects, and wrote thank‑you notes to parish staff and community helpers. Middle‑school students led service initiatives, including a food pantry collection and handmade cards for nursing home residents, while younger grades enjoyed story time with their older buddies and special classroom activities.
Spirit days added fun and color to the celebration, with everything from “Dress Like a Saint Day” to “Crazy Sock Day,” filling the halls with creativity and laughter. The highlight of the week was our school‑wide assembly, where Student Council recognized teachers and staff for their dedication, and classes shared short presentations about what Catholic education means to them. The week concluded with Family Appreciation Day, welcoming parents into classrooms for visits, prayer, and a community breakfast hosted by the Home and School Association. Catholic Schools Week reminded us once again that St. Micheal’s is more than a school — it is a family rooted in faith, united in service, and committed to helping every child grow into the person God created them to be.
