St. Sebastian Catholic
Elementary school

Every spring, something wonderful happens in the St. Sebastian school library. The shelves get rearranged, colorful displays go up, and the whole room transforms into something that feels a little bit like magic and a whole lot like a bookstore. That’s right: the St. Sebastian Spring Book Fair is returning, and this year it promises to be the best one yet.

Running Tuesday, May 6th through Friday, May 9th, the fair will be open each day during school hours, with special evening hours on Wednesday, May 7th from 5:00 to 7:30 PM for families who want to browse together after school. Students will visit the fair with their classes throughout the week, and independent browsing time will be available each morning before the first bell.

“When a child picks up a book because something on the cover made their eyes light up that’s the moment. That’s what the Book Fair is all about.”— Mrs. Patricia Connelly, Principal

This year’s fair features an expanded selection of titles for every grade level, from board books and early readers for our youngest Knights all the way through chapter books, graphic novels, and non-fiction titles for our upper elementary students. A special faith-based section will highlight Catholic children’s literature, illustrated Bible stories, and saint biographies a wonderful opportunity to bring a new spiritual treasure home for the family bookshelf.

Parents are encouraged to set up an eWallet for their child ahead of time through the Book Fair’s online portal a convenient, cashless way to shop that lets you set a spending limit and gives your child the independence to choose their own books. Cash and credit cards will also be accepted at the register. All purchases directly benefit the St. Sebastian school library, helping fund new books and reading materials for every classroom.

No child will leave empty-handed. Thanks to the generous donations of St. Sebastian families and our parish community, the Books for Every Knight fund will ensure that every student who needs support purchasing a book will receive one. Because here at St. Sebastian, we believe that every child deserves a story to call their own.
