Lunch Information

The USDA requires all students participating in federal meal programs to have a written, clearly communicated policy regarding unpaid meal charges. An unpaid meal occurs when there are insufficient funds in a student’s lunch account.

Federal guidelines do not permit the School Lunch Program to operate on credit. If your account has a negative balance, payment is expected immediately. All families enrolled in the School Lunch Program must set up a MySchoolBucks account. Payments may be made through MySchoolBucks (a $3.50 credit card transaction fee applies) or by sending cash or a check to the school office.

Families are encouraged to monitor student account balances regularly. By working together, the St. Michael Catholic School Lunch Program can continue to provide nutritious, well-balanced meals at an affordable cost.
