WMS Catholic School Students Explore Faith and Justice

In the quiet confines of the theology classroom at St. Augustine’s Preparatory School, students embarked on a journey of spiritual discovery and social justice. Guided by their insightful teacher, Sister Maria, the students delved into the depths of Catholic social teaching and explored ways to live out their faith in the modern world.

Inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ and the call to love and serve others, the students embarked on a series of projects aimed at addressing pressing social issues such as poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation. They volunteered at local homeless shelters, organized fundraisers for charitable organizations, and advocated for policies that promote justice and compassion.

Their efforts were not in vain, as they witnessed firsthand the transformative power of faith in action. Through their projects, the students became agents of change in their communities, embodying the principles of solidarity, subsidiarity, and the common good.

Their theological trailblazing did not go unnoticed, as they received accolades from their peers, teachers, and local community leaders for their unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

The theological trailblazers of St. Augustine’s Preparatory School had not only deepened their understanding of their faith but had also embraced their call to be disciples of Christ in a world in need of hope and healing.
